Bill Denzel is a publishing and marketing professional with more than 30 years of experience creating books, videos and other resources as well as managing marketing campaigns, websites, events and other promotional activities. Prior to establishing the Denzel Agency, Bill was Chief Creative Officer and Vice President of Publishing at Gospel Light/Regal Books.
During his tenure at GL/Regal, Bill worked with many bestselling authors such as Coach John Wooden, Neil T. Anderson, George Barna, Shane Claiborne, Dennis Rainey, Gary Smalley and John Perkins, to name just a few. He was instrumental in the creation and launch of many bestselling books including Moments Together for Couples by Dennis and Barbara Rainey and Victory over the Darkness by Neil Anderson, which has sold more than two million copies.
Bill has a broad range of expertise in all publishing functions, including content creation, branding, marketing, licensing, acquisitions, art direction, design, production, editorial and overall team management.
His professional background includes time in the advertising industry at Foote, Cone and Belding, more than two decades in publishing, and serving as vice president at Barna Group. He has held positions as a writer, creative director, and marketing director, and has served in C-level leadership as chief marketing officer and chief creative officer.
Bill's education includes a BA in English from UCLA and an MBA from CSUN, with a concentration in management. He also spent a year studying at UC Berkeley.
